Artist Profile

As a toddler, though unable to see,

I was not kept from tools of creating.

Alongside my older brother & sister,

I was offered markers & crayons & pencils & paint.

As you can see in the above picture,

I had my own way of making art.

I felt along the edges of the paper to know its boundaries. I held my utensils in a way that felt comfortable to me.

I had no use of actually looking at my canvas.

But I was an artist from the beginning.
